The Meaning of G-Sync: An Introduction to G-Sync Technology

It is essential to have a G-Sync compatible monitor for this feature to work, as not all monitors can support it. G-Sync ensures that the GPU never outputs fewer frames than the display is rendering and vice versa. However, it is important to note that G-Sync will not function properly if the frame rate drops below 30 FPS.

G-Sync delivers on its promise, but it is a proprietary technology, so it requires investing in a monitor with a G-Sync module, which costs extra. Additionally, an Nvidia graphics card is necessary for G-Sync to work.
